Do The Paintballs Wash Out?
YES! The paintballs are non-toxic and biodegradable. If you are playing at the Outdoor Park you may get grass stains and other elements on your clothes, so don't wear your Sunday's Best!

Can Being Hit By A Paintball Leave A Welt?
They Can! Both Low Impact & Standard Impact Paintballs involve a gelatin capsule hitting you when you are marked, so they can leave welts. The welts can range from nothing, to nicking the skin. To prevent welts we recommend layering up and putting a layer of clothing between your skin and the paintball.

  • paintball headwear

    Upper Body

Hooded sweatshirts are the best as the hood can be used to cover up the head and offers additional protection for the neck. More coverage is better! Turtle necks work too!

  • paintball headwear

    Lower Body

Loose fitting is the key. Jeans work, but wear the biggest pair you have! Some people will wear snowboarding pants for the padding, but they can get warm on hot days. Sweats typically work well with basketball shorts under them for extra padding. Baggie is better. If you are playing outdoors something that is water repellent is normally better also!

  • paintball headwear

    Headwear

We recommend bringing a beanie to cover up your hair and the top of the head. A baseball cap that you wear backwards typically works too.

    Footwear

At the Indoor Arena we recommend wearing cleats or high traction shoes. Track spikes are not allowed. At the Outdoor Park hiking boots and other high traction shoes will work.

  • Bring a Change of Clothes

    Bring a Change of Clothes

We recommend bringing a change of clothes for the ride home. Although the paintballs do wash out, if you change before leaving our facility you won’t have to worry about cleaning the paint out of the car.

What Do I need to Paintball at DBS?

Admission & Air Fee

At each facility you will pay an admission fee (which gets you into the facility) and an air fee (which allows us to fill the air source for your paintball gun).

Paintball Gun

The Paintball Marker setup includes the paintball gun itself, the hopper (which holds the paintballs), and air tank (which powers the marker), and a barrel bag (goes over the barrel when you are not playing to keep things safe!)

Paintball Mask

The Paintball Mask covers the front of the face including the eyes and mouth, along with the side of the head (including the ears).

Paintballs

Our rental package include varying amounts of paintballs. We also have them on site so if you run out you can purchase more.

Clothes

You will want to wear the right clothing. We do not provide clothing on site, so make sure you check out our What To Wear section and dress appropriately.
