Player Classification
The intent of this classification system is to allow players to play in a division until they are ready to progress to the next division. Our goal is to provide players with an experience every time they participate in an event, allow them to grow as a player, and to encourage new players to enter the sport. Without an effective player classification system new players will be discouraged from participating, which will cause tournament paintball to dwindle! I encourage everyone to advance as they can to help promote growth within the series and the region.
Advancement: once a player participates in a division, they are not required to move up to the next division until they place in the top four at three events or places in the top four for a series.
Young Guns: any player that is under 15 years old prior to March 22nd, 2008.
Beginner: A beginner player can not have or gain experience in any tournament or series in which he was on the roster of a team playing in a division higher than beginner.
Any player who gains experience outside the Survivor Series must do so at the beginner level. Playing as a rookie or higher twice will cause you to loose your beginner status, and the same advancement rules apply. Once you place in the top four at any three beginner events you will be required to advance to the next division.
Rookie: A rookie player can not have played in more than two events per calendar year as a rookie prior to January 2007.
Open: Everyone else. No professionals or semi-professionals.
