Ten teams and counting!

Wow, only 11 days after the event, and a little over a month and a half prior to E2 - NELSON MADNESS we have one more team than the first event! At this point I would say that the series has a lot of potential to reach the 15 team requirement for Nelson to kick in the 5 cases of paintballs! The site has been updated with quick links for the next event, and more information regarding the events and series to further help the players of the Survivor Series. Look for a short video on breakouts from the DBS KIDZ to be up on the website in the next week or so.

Be sure to utilize the Promotional goodies available on the website. Hang up flyers at work, school, the local hang out... hang out brochures around town or your local paintball field... and post up bulletins and direct players on MySpace to our MySpace page.

Thanks to everyone for their support, and it is looking like we will have a live web cast at the next event, along with music and a better announcement system. Things are only getting bigger and better!

SSNW Comments

This series is designed to introduce new and younger players into the tournament world of paintball. We here at the Survivor Series NW are doing our best to provide our players with and affordable, competitive, and most of all FUN day of paintball!

What we are asking of you, the players, is that you take a little time and think of all the things you don’t like about this or other paintball tournaments you may have attended. Weather it be the wait between games, the playing environment, or whatever, email me at danny@doodlebugsportz.com. This will help me and my staff provide you with more of you would like to see at our events. Thank you for your time,

E2 - NELSON MADNESS ANNOUNCEMENT!

Added Bonus to tell your friends!
We just wrapped up E1 and I am very excited to announce E2 - NELSON MADNESS. Nelson has stepped up for this event and if we get 15 or more teams for any one division we will be raffling off 5 cases of paintballs at the awards ceremony (must be present to claim).

Free Players Clinic!
Also, we highly encourage all participants to stick around after the event, as the DBS KIDZ will be doing a one-hour clinic covering breakouts, laning, and proper communication. Only participants in the tournament will have access to this one-hour clinic. Clinic will start promptly after the awards ceremony.

Top Gun 1v1 with CASH payout!
And the kicker... look for a top guns one on one tournament to take place during the lunch break! More information on this to be released soon...

PS. Be sure to check out the thread on PbNation! Feel free to ask questions, find players for the next event, and generally chat about the upcoming event. The thread can be found HERE.

Young Guns Division Cancelled

Due to a low team turn out in the Young Guns division, the division was cancelled. I have left messages with the teams, and they do have the option of playing in the Beginner division. Young Guns team captains that have paid, please contact Danny @ 425.257.9771 at your earliest convenience today. Thanks guys and I am looking forward to a great event!

Rules for the Event:

I have been getting a lot of questions about the rules for the Survivor Series. We will be using a modified CFOA rule book. That rulebook can be found on their site at www.thecfoa.com.

A couple of clarifications before the event
Layers: 2 layers max. If you plan on wearing a sweat shirt it will be the only layer allowed and the hood must be tucked in.
Firing Mode: Semi Auto ONLY. We will not be allowing any form or ramping. Any marker found to be ramping during a game will cause your team to forfeit that game, with all points going to the other team. Refs will be available in the morning to test guns for players.

The event will go on!

Although we currently only have 7 teams in the beginner division the event will go on with FULL PRIZES being awarded. The Young Guns division currently has 2 teams registered and paid. As long as we get 5 teams in the division I will give out full prizes for that division also!

REGISTRATION HAS BEEN EXTENDED: because I was out of town for the last week of registration. We will be taking teams in for the event until Wednesday March 19th @ the close of all DBS location. You must get your payment to one of the DBS locations prior to the close of that specific store. To get your roster set-up, you must contact Danny prior to 4PM on Wednesday (I am leaving at 4PM!). Get your team signed up today.

EVENT ITINERARY:

Wednesday Night @ the close of all DBS locations, the week prior to the event, EVENT REGISTRATION CLOSES. If you are not on the team list or haven't completed registration at that time, you will NOT be playing in the event. A complete registration consists of a team name, a full roster, and payment. (this has been extended) If you need help getting registered email danny@doodlebugsportz.com. I will only be at the shop until about 4PM on Wednesday so be sure to get your roster set up by then.

Promotional Material section added to the website!

In an effort to increase our player base, we have made our fliers & brochures available on the site. We ask that all participants spread the word! Post up fliers at school, work, & other public places that may draw interest. Help spread the word about our sport and expose new players to experience that is the Survivor Series.

2/3/08
No ID Card required.

Although we will not be requiring an Event ID Card at our events, valid photo ID will be required on site for each player. In an effort to reduce non-rostered players from participating in our events, each player will be issued a wristband to indicate you are a valid player and playing for the correct team. Thank you for your cooperation.
