What Does Getting Hit By A Paintball Feel Like?

Let’s be honest – getting hit by a paintball stings a bit, like a firm flick or rubber band snap. Most first-timers are surprised it’s much less painful than expected! The adrenaline rush quickly takes over, and you’ll forget about any minor discomfort.

With that said, we have countless kids as young as 6-years old at the park playing low impact paintball each week! If they can handle it and want to get back out over and over again, we are sure you will not only handle it, but have an awesome time!

Essential Clothing Tips:

Basic Tactics The Work:

1️⃣ Stay Low: Crouch or crawl to make yourself a smaller target

2️⃣ Use Cover Wisely: Move from bunker to bunker, don’t stay in one spot

3️⃣ Work as a Team: Communicate with teammates, coordinate moves

4️⃣ Conserve Paint: Aim carefully rather than spraying wildly

5️⃣ Have Fun: The best strategy is enjoying yourself!

Common Beginner Mistakes to Avoid:

❎ Taking their mask off during a game: always keep your mask on

❎ Standing too tall behind cover: Stay low & reduce your chances of being hit

❎ Forgetting to check air levels: remember, your paintball gun requires air to work, so if you don't refill it your paintball gun will stop working

❎ Not communicating with teammates: You should talk to your team on and off the field. Doing so allows you to make a plan before the game starts, while talking during the game helps let everyone know where the opponent is hiding.

❎ Being afraid to move positions: You'll play more than one game so take some risks and move around.

❎ Taking the game too seriously: we're all here to have fun!
